BobM, Randy, and Rob, The Wed. night AFP Candidate Forum #1 is now up, on our CH 14 website. Click kn hyperlink below. Best regards, BobA http://coosmediacenter.pegcentral.com/index.php Hi:
We have another full agenda this coming Wednesday (Feb. 15) for the Coos County Chapter of Americans for Prosperity at the ESD Building in Coos Bay. 5:30PM is the time things get under way with Big Daddy's BBQ entree and potluck fare, store bought or otherwise; please feel free to donate. There is no charge to attend. This first hour is our "working" dinner hour and has an educational flavor as Coos County citizens Rob Taylor and Don Chance speak to the urban renewal and marsh expansion issues currently in the news. In an exciting presidential election year we have a variety of local governmental positions being sought after. Next month, on Mar. 21st, our 3rd Wednesday meeting, we will co-ordinate candidate forums kicking off with a forum featuring those candidates running for Coos County Commissioner. Those commissioner candidates involved, to be announced. This coming Wednesday we'll have Randy Sanne, candidate for county commissioner, speaking on the county budget. He also said he'd do his best to answer some questions. Bob Main (an incumbent commissioner, running for another 4 years) will also speak, primarily on the County Administrator position and timber lands that may be given to the county and, who administrates those lands.
